Key & Peele Turn the World on its Head in "TeachingCenter" Skit

"Key & Peele" imagine a world where teachers get multi-million dollar contracts instead of athletes and create a SportsCenter type show about it.

What if the world actually made sense? That is the basic conceit of this Key & Peele skit that shows the two comedians on a SportsCenter type set talking about Pro Teachers. In the world where TeachingCenter exists, regular old teachers are given $80 million "guaranteed" contracts with $40 million more in incentives. A young calculus teacher gets drafted into the UTL—"Congratulations, you're a millionaire"—much to the delight of his "humble" professional football-playing dad who lived paycheck to paycheck. And a famous teacher takes her talents to the New York City public school system.

The details are spot on, too. All the crazy, swooshing Terminator-inspired graphics, the teacher dossiers, and even the fake commercial at the end make this feel like a real show. Except for the part where teachers are millionaires and pro-athletes live paycheck to paycheck.
